Campana form having fluted and chased decoration with furled rocaille rim, leading into applied vine leaf and grape decoration, flanked by two vine handles with naturalistic textured finish, raised on a circular chased ground with fluted base.

The serpentine marble tops above a single drawer and a pair of panelled doors set with oval silvered plaques decorated with putties in a landscape, above a shaped apron carved with flowerheads, raised on scrolling feet the plaques signed ‘CHRISTOFLE’, the back panel ink stamped ‘Guignard’, cabinets attributed to Grohé Frères.
